One year after a deadly earthquake struck Japan, God has graciously enabled the country to slowly recover from the disaster. In interview with FEBC Japan Director Ms. Keiko Yoshizaki on the program “Tawag ng Karunungan,” she talks about the current situation in areas affected by the earthquake and tsunami, as well as how the FEBC broadcasts are helping comfort the victims. 1197 DXFE Davao marked its 40th anniversary on February 14, with the theme “Growing Deeper in Prayer, Going Out for Service” (Matt. 9:37-38; Jn. 4:38). The festivities kicked off with an Open House at the station in the morning. In the evening, a listeners’ prayer gathering was held at the Davao City Foursquare Gospel Church where FEBC Phils. Pres. Dan Andrew Cura exhorted on Joshua 3. Other activities lined up for the weeklong celebration include distribution of Portable Missionary radio sets at the Davao City Female Jail of the Davao City Jail and Barangay 31-D Poblacion, in an urban poor community in Duhwa and at the Matina Pangi area.
