A Year of Missions Radio

Apr 23, 2012 | DZMR, Feature, From Our Stations

With the theme “Pressing On Towards the Goal” (Phil. 3:14), 1143 DZMR Santiago City marked its 1st anniversary last April 21. More than a hundred listeners from all over the Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Autonomous regions joined the simple celebration. A listener, from Tinoc, Ifugao, travelled almost a day just to celebrate with DZMR and have fellowship with the programmers. Other listeners also shared their respective testimonies of how the station’s broadcasts have ministered to them in the past year.

Listeners Visit DZMR Isabela

Jan 24, 2012 | DZMR, From Our Stations

listeners visit dzmrPastor Robert Borac from Roxas, Isabela and Benson Duque from Echaque, Isabela are the two winners of Pastor Lorenz’ contest for December. Each received pre-tuned radio, an Ilocano Bible and 3 music CDs of Ptr. Lorenz Salazar.

Ptr. Borac travelled for two hours to claim his prize.  He shared that he started listening to DZMR while it was still on its test broadcast.  He is an avid listener and knows all the programs by heart even the topics being discussed by the programmers.

Rudy Rufino from Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya went to the station to get a copy of the message of Ptr. Rudy Ursua on the family. His home town is in Batad but he now resides in Diadi with his wife and 4 children in their farm. He started listening last October. He mentioned that he will give the transcript to his wife who is not a Christian yet so  that she will know God’s guidelines in building the family.

We pray that as we continue to go on the air, the Lord will open more homes, hospitals, and even hardened-hearts to hear His message of love and eternal life.

This Christmas, allow us to share with you this thought from Holley Gerth:

“Jesus, He came not to a throne but to a manger. He lived not as a king but as a servant. He chose not a kingdom but a cross, He gave not just a little but everything.”
