June 7, 2025 marked a joyful milestone as FEBC Philippines celebrated its 77th anniversary with a full-house Open House event at Greenhills Christian Fellowship (GCF) in Ortigas. Over a thousand guests gathered onsite, and thousands more tuned in via FEBC’s simulcast on radio, Facebook, YouTube, and GCTV. United under the theme “Hanggang Marinig ng Lahat” (Until All Have Heard) inspired by Romans 10:14–15, the celebration powerfully reaffirmed FEBC’s mission to share Christ using every available media platform.

Heartfelt Worship & Warm Welcome

The morning opened with moving worship led by Ptr. Rommel and Susan Guevara, Atty. Jeremiah Belgica, and Maloi & Atty. Winnie Salumbides. Their renditions of “Mahal na Mahal Kita Panginoon,” “Dakilang Pagmamahal,” and “Napakabuti Mo” set a tone of gratitude to the Lord. Our hosts, Ruth dela Rama‑Dizon and James Menorca‑Sampan, greeted ministry partners, faithful listeners, first-time guests, and over 30 sponsors whose support made the celebration possible.

Voices Across Seven Sectors

A highlight of the day featured voices from media, government, church, business, education, family, and entertainment, with each one delivering insightful and encouraging messages:

Peter Kairus (CBN Asia) on credible media in a time of misinformation

Atty. Jeremiah Belgica on the importance of truth-based governance

Ptr. Larry Pabiona (GCF) on the link between right doctrine and genuine living

Cathy Tan (Business as Mission) on stewarding resources well

Teacher Francie Castaneda‑Lacanilao calling for Christ-centered education in the social media era

Bong & Elmee Caimol on building strong, faith-filled families

Christian Bautista urging creators to honor God through media

Collectively, they called for Gospel-centered collaboration across society and highlighted the value of partnering with Gospel-based ministries like FEBC to bring these interventions into every sector of society.

Powerful Listener Testimonies

Listeners also shared heartfelt testimonies. One message from a viewer recalled listening to FEBC programs while living in the mountains of Pinugay, Rizal. Another long-time listener, Louie, shared how FEBC’s teachings have been used in their own ministry. Onsite, Erlinda from Camarines Sur testified that FEBC radio announcers served as her spiritual mentors, and she prayed that the terrestrial broadcasts would reach remote areas like Caramoan, where she serves as a missionary.

Engaging Challenge: “Whom Will You Help Us Reach?”

Attendees were invited to scan QR cards linking to the 702 DZAS and Papuri! streaming apps. It was a gentle reminder that everyone can assist, whether by sharing a program, gifting a radio, or inviting someone to tune in. With both broadcast and digital platforms, the Gospel’s reach is broader than ever!

Inspiring Messages & Mission Updates

Bishop Joey Umali, host of Hardin ng Panalangin, urged believers to recognize the transformative power of Gospel media: “This is not just about information… It’s about transformation, and the Gospel has the power to do just that.”

Luis Miguel Castillo, CEO of FEBC Philippines, shared exciting developments including expanded radio capabilities, app enhancements, and growing partnerships nationwide. He highlighted ongoing efforts such as disaster-response broadcasting and heart language content for various people groups.

Bishop Reuben Abante, our Board Vice-Chair, closed the first half with his impactful acronym G.O.S.P.E.L.—Give an Offering and Share in Publishing and Evangelizing in Love, urging that love for Christ should fuel our service. The segment climaxed with the stirring anthem “Hanggang Sa Marinig ng Lahat.”

In the second part of the program, 702 DZAS brought together beloved hosts and guests in a vibrant celebration. Hosts Haydee Bernardo-Sampang and Kael Garcia led the segment with warmth, followed by the FEBC Anniversary Trivia with Aruel Mendoza and Kaela Escalante. Children were also treated to a special presentation from the OKIDDO program, a fun and meaningful segment made by kids, for kids.

Pastor Mel Caparros, senior pastor of Living Word Christian Churches of Cebu and an FEBC partner since the 1980s, delivered a convicting message. He urged listeners not to be silenced by societal pressure, but to remain bold in sharing God’s Word: “Ang impyerno, hindi po siya fake news!” (Hell is not fake news!) His message, broadcast through the radio program Living Word, continues to stir believers to live with Gospel urgency.

Worship through Papuri! songs added a timeless beauty to the celebration, led by the Papuri! Singers themselves whose music has blessed generations. Listeners can catch them daily at 4:30 p.m. on 702 DZAS and stream their songs on digital platforms. Throughout the event, the commitment of FEBC’s hosts, partners, and supporters was evident.

Recommissioning & Forward Momentum

As the celebration came to a close, attendees were recommissioned for the work ahead. The message was clear: the Gospel must be heard across languages, sectors, and platforms. Whether through radio, mobile apps, or community outreach, FEBC continues to move forward as it broadens access to God’s Word and advances one clear vision: “Communicating Christ in our world. Until all have heard.”
