True to its name, 1197 DXFE Davao—The Good News Radio—has been a faithful voice in the Davao Region, not only through powerful, Gospel-centered broadcasts but also through its active presence in communities. The station’s ministry extends far beyond the airwaves, offering hope, help, and healing through practical outreach and spiritual engagement.

On February 14, 2025, DXFE celebrated its 53rd anniversary with a day that reflected both legacy and renewed mission. The morning opened with corporate prayer and Scripture reading, grounding the celebration in thanksgiving for more than five decades of God’s sustaining grace.

In the afternoon, the station hosted a Liniment Oil Making Workshop for women from their Blessing Rahab ministry. More than a livelihood opportunity, the activity affirmed the women’s dignity, provided hands-on skills, and reminded them of their value in Christ.

A key highlight of DXFE’s current efforts is its growing partnership with the Department of Justice Action Center (DOJAC) and Usapang OFW by Global Impact. What began as a one-time guest feature has since become a regular segment on Oras na Pilipinas, offering legal advice and public service—especially to overseas Filipinos and vulnerable communities. It is a clear example of how radio can be both a spiritual and civic lifeline.

Looking ahead, DXFE is preparing to launch new Bible study groups aimed at deepening discipleship among listeners, affirming the station’s dual commitment to Gospel proclamation and life transformation.

For DXFE, being The Good News Radio means more than broadcasting Scripture—it means living it out in tangible, compassionate ways. Whether through on-air programs or community outreach, the station continues to meet people where they are with messages and acts of hope.
