What began in the early 2000s as a single radio program of Al Hayat Foundation, Inc. has now grown into a full-fledged radio station making waves in Cotabato and surrounding areas. Radyo Gandingan, originally a community-based radio program reaching Maguindanaon-speaking communities, became DXGR 106.9 FM through a partnership with FEBC Philippines in 2022—and now marks its third anniversary as a platform for peace, compassion, and Gospel-centered service.

In March 2025, the station celebrated its 3rd year with the theme “Love Thy Neighbor,” choosing to honor the milestone through outreach than fanfare. The celebration unfolded during the holy month of Ramadan, allowing DXGR to express genuine solidarity and care.

DXGR began by distributing rice and groceries to 15 Muslim staff and volunteers ahead of the fasting season.  On March 12, the team visited Cotabato Bahay Maria Foundation, sharing warm meals and encouragement with over 30 elderly residents. With prayers and music, the visit became a moment of hope and healing.

On March 25, a Free Iftar outreach served 50 habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) and payong-payong (pedicab) drivers in Cotabato City, providing packed meals to hardworking workers who often go unnoticed. The anniversary concluded with grocery distributions to 60 families in Sitio Dikawgen, Datu Odin Sinsuat, for Eid’l Fitr.

Beyond outreach, the station underwent structural improvements. From February 6–13, DXGR’s broadcast tower and station building were repainted and repaired, ensuring safer, more reliable operations in the years to come.

Beyond outreach and maintenance, DXGR’s real measure of impact lies in the voices of its listeners. Programs like Tanging Ama, Katutubo, and Boses ng Kabataan Bangsamoro continue to shape values, build understanding, and offer spiritual direction:

📌 “Paborito ko ang programang ‘Tanging Ama’ dahil marami itong magagandang aral—lalo na tungkol sa pagpapalakas ng ugnayan ng pamilya, pananampalataya, at tamang asal para sa mga kabataan.” — Listener from Sultan Mastura, Maguindanao del Norte

📌 “Gustong-gusto ko pong pakinggan ang programang ‘Katutubo’… mas tumitibay ang pananampalataya ko bilang isang katutubo.” — Listener from Parang, Maguindanao del Norte

📌 “Mula nang nakikinig ako sa ‘Boses ng Kabataan Bangsamoro,’ marami akong natututunan… lalo na sa mga kabataan na gustong magpursige sa pag-aaral.” — Listener from Datu Odin Sinsuat

Three years strong, DXGR continues to serve communities as a bridge for peace, a platform for values, and a faithful companion on and off the air.
