Nestled among the forested foothills of Mt. Makiling, the CCF Re-Creation Center in Batangas has been our staff retreat venue for three consecutive years. But this year felt different. From June 17–19, more than 130 FEBC Philippines staff from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao gathered for the National Staff Conference 2025—our most complete and unifying gathering to date.

More than just a break from the routine, the conference was a time to reconnect with colleagues, renew our vision, and realign with our calling as Gospel media workers. This year’s theme, #IAMFEBC, invited everyone to anchor their identity not in their job title, but in Jesus Christ—the Great I AM.

CEO Luis Miguel Castillo opened the event by unveiling Going One Step at a Time, FEBC’s five-year strategic plan, which focuses on the four pillars of our ministry: People, Programs, Partners, and Processes. Board Chairman James Tioco and Vice Chairman Bishop Reuben Abante shared powerful messages on calling, excellence, and stirring up the gifts entrusted to each of us.

This year’s setup fostered fresh camaraderie. Staff were divided into ten groups, engaging in a variety of team challenges—from games to creative presentations—that stirred up a spirit of healthy competition and deepened friendships across stations and departments.

A major highlight was the Annual MIC (My Individual Contribution) Awards, which celebrated staff who have served from 5 to 35 years—a moving tribute to lives faithfully sown in ministry.

Workshops, breakout sessions, and quiet moments of worship and reflection rounded out the three-day event. Dr. Robert Manaois, Deputy Secretary, led a session on goal-setting and strategy alignment to help teams map a clear course forward.

As we returned to our respective offices and stations, one message echoed loudest: we are not just workers scattered across islands—we are one family, united by one mission, called by one Lord.

👉 Partner with us in prayer and support as we press on—until all have heard.
