In the 1940s, FEBC founder John Broger left the shores of the U.S. with a bold vision: to bring the Gospel to the “Far East” through radio. The plan was to build a station in Shanghai—but political upheaval immediately shut that door. Just when it seemed like the mission to China would stall, God opened another door—right here in the Philippines. FEBC was born out of the rubble of the Second World War. And from the outskirts of Manila, the Chinese broadcasts began.
